We finished up day number two of our planning at Starved Rock State Park in Utica, Illinois.  I’m really excited about this next ministry year.  We have lots of stuff we still need to finalize and a ton of numbers to crunch…but I believe that 2007-2008 will be our greatest ministry year ever!  I can’t lay out the specific plans, but I think we have the opportunity to see more people than ever before find their way back to God; more than double the impact of our NewThing Network and challenge people to hear from God like never before!  If you would like to see our 7 STEPS FOR CREATING ALL-CHURCH INITIATIVES, click HERE.

In addition to all the planning and strategies we also finished up the day with a very competitive game of volleyball. Of course the fact that I’m blogging about it means that my team came from way behind to win the deciding and final game.  MVP goes to Troy McMahon who was a beast on the front line!  Honorable mention goes to someone on the other team – Jim Semradek who injured fellow teammate Perry Martin and thus helped us with our comeback!

All and all, it was a very good two days!  Thank you so much for those of you who were praying for us.
