If you haven’t checked out the editorial by Bono in the recent issue of Time magazine, you should do it now. My favorite quote: “”It is–or it ought to be–unacceptable that an accident of longitude and latitude determines whether a child lives or dies.” And I love the challenge he ends with: “Beating AIDS and extreme, stupid poverty, this is our moon shot. This is our civil rights struggle, our anti-apartheid movement. This is what the history books will remember our generation for–or blame us for, if we fail.”
I gave this article to Josh and had him read it. After he finished it I told him, “Josh, you could do this…God has gifted you in such a way that you could make this happen”. Every generation needs it’s moon shot.
