You know the chaos and craziness you go through before you get ready to leave on a vacation? Packing up your stuff. Getting extra work done? Making arrangements for all the pets? It’s crazy, but it’s all worth it. I feel like that is what I’m going through in getting ready for the Exponential Conference (National New Church Conference) coming up in couple weeks. While I’m there I will be doing the following:
- Pre-conference: 7-Moves to Multi-Site.
- Track session on Multiplying Ministry.
- Track session on The Big Idea.
- Main session on The Reproducing Church.
- A couple panels – one on blogging and another on the Multi-Site Church.
It is going to be awesome and totally worth it; but since I’m speaking a handful of times and want to have fresh material – I’m going through some chaos, a bit of craziness and some cramming to get ready.
I talked to Todd Wilson, the Director of the Exponential Conference and he told me that we now have more than 1600 registered!! Wow! Last year’s conference was a huge success with 800 and when we started planning last year for 2007 our dream goal was to have 1500. So, when we say “its the largest gathering of church planting leaders in North America” it is no exaggeration! If you have not registered yet, change your plans now and register. It’s going to be awesome!
