We start a new series this weekend and I’m really pumped about the BIG IDEA: Selling Souls On Ebay. Back in March of this year a guy here in Chicago, a DePaul University grad student and self-proclaimed atheist sold his soul on Ebay for $504. The buyer, who was a Christian made a deal with the seller that he had to attend church with him five times. After auctioning off his soul the seller said, “It’s a win either way – if he converts me, I just got saved…and if he doesn’t I’m up $504.” We live in an era of tremendous spiritual interest and open-ness. Souls (really whole people) are going to the highest bidder. Are you selling? Are you buying?
